Upcoming Services

Located in Richmond, Indiana, Beth Boruk Temple welcomes any person wanting to participate in Jewish worship and congregational life.  We strive to maintain educational, religious, cultural, social and recreational activities in support of Jewish community and tradition.

Officially founded in 1920, the congregation completed the synagogue building in 1963, which has served as its permanent home.  In 1971, Beth Boruk requested Earlham Cemetery to reserve a special section for use by Temple members.

Our congregation holds Friday night  services on a regular basis starting in September and ending in May of each year.  Services are led by Student Rabbi Shmuel Polin of the Hebrew Union College. Our synagogue is Reform, but we welcome Jews from any tradition.  Beth Boruk Temple is a member of the Union for Reform Judaism.

The congregation plans many activities throughout the year including holiday seders, Torah study, bagel brunches and joint activities with the Jewish Cultural Center at Earlham College.
